What a deliciously welcome breathe of fresh air is the album "Muy Divertido" (released on the Atlantic label) by Marc Ribot y Los Cubanos Postizos (or the fake Cubans) compared to a good part of what is being peddled by many another musician hitching a ride on the Cuban bandwagon of late. Recently programmed as part of the French festival Sons d'Hiver, Mondomix takes you back to the exquisitely novel homage to legendary Cuban tres player, Arsenio Rodriguez, by this naturally prolific American guitarist.
